World hotel destinations: compare where to stay in 42 cities

Explore 42 city hotel destinations

Choose a city below to start a destination search. For a business trip, narrow the location around your office, client site or convention venue; for a mixed work and leisure visit, compare the daily routes before selecting a neighborhood.

These are destination ideas rather than a popularity ranking. Prices, availability, transport and entry requirements vary, so check the current details relevant to your own trip.

Choose the area before the hotel

A hotel in the right city is only the beginning. Compare the exact address with your meetings, arrival point and evening plans. Check the practical route during the times you expect to travel and distinguish a city-center hotel from an airport, suburban or beach location.

For a specific building, landmark or address, use the search form above and choose the correct matching suggestion. A broad destination search is useful for comparing areas, while a place-based search helps narrow the location.

Compare the room and complete selected offer

Search the same stay dates, travelers and room requirements across your shortlist. Review the total shown, taxes and fees included, property-payable charges, deposit and cancellation conditions. A room name or photograph alone does not establish bedding, space or a particular view.

For working trips, check the desk, internet, arrival arrangements and transport. Confirm meeting space separately. For longer stays, compare the actual kitchen, laundry and housekeeping details rather than assuming every suite is an apartment.

Plan international and multi-city stays

Allow for local arrival dates and time zones when selecting check-in and check-out. Confirm late arrival instructions and the payment arrangements that apply to your selected offer. Check current travel-document and entry requirements with the appropriate official authorities before traveling.

For an itinerary with several stops, review each stay separately. A flexible cancellation policy can matter when a meeting date is uncertain; compare its terms with any prepaid alternative before deciding.

Use city and brand guides to refine your shortlist

Explore the Sydney area and hotel guide or Taipei area and hotel guide for examples of choosing a base. The hotel chains for business travel guide helps compare formats across hotel groups.

When you are ready, use the current hotel search for your destination and dates. Review the complete selected offer before booking; a destination card does not guarantee a hotel, rate or room type.
