Find Your Sonesta Stay

Sonesta Hotels Frequently Asked Questions

Sonesta deals and last-minute stays

Compare flexible offers, advance-purchase reservations, longer-stay rates, and any member or special rate you qualify for. A lower room price may require prepayment or restrict changes. Check those conditions against how certain your plans are.

For a room tonight, search the actual arrival date and confirm late check-in arrangements. Local events, holidays, and remaining inventory can affect prices. Booking close to arrival does not guarantee a discount.

Find Sonesta hotels near your destination

Enter the full hotel name if you have a property in mind. Otherwise, search a city, airport, landmark, or street address. You can also use your current location with permission.

Nearby results can include other brands. Confirm the exact hotel and address, and check the route to your destination. A property described as an airport hotel may still require a drive; verify any shuttle's hours, pickup point, and charges with the hotel.

For work, consider the actual journey to the office, client, or event venue. For a longer stay, check groceries, laundry, parking, and public transport as well as map distance.

How to search for a Sonesta hotel

1. Open the Sonesta.com website or official Sonesta app.
2. Enter your destination, complete stay dates, rooms, and travelers, including children's ages where requested.
3. Review the hotel's full name, exact address, room categories, photos, amenities, and arrival arrangements.
4. Read the selected offer's meal, payment, cancellation, length-of-stay, and membership conditions.
5. Search the same hotel and dates on BusinessHotels.com to compare the complete offer.

Which Sonesta brand fits your trip?

The Sonesta name covers different styles of stay. Use the brand as a starting point, then read the individual hotel's facilities and room descriptions. These examples are not a complete portfolio list.

Rooms, suites, and kitchen details

Sonesta includes conventional hotel rooms and suites as well as extended-stay accommodation. A kitchen is not a standard feature of every Sonesta room. Read the description of the room you are actually reserving.

Compare the bed configuration, number of separate sleeping areas, occupancy, workspace, and bathroom arrangements. A room described as a suite may have a different layout from another suite at the same hotel.

If you need a kitchen, verify the appliances, cookware, dishes, refrigerator capacity, and dining space. For accessibility or another essential requirement, confirm the specific room features and availability with the property.

Breakfast, restaurants, and dining

Dining can differ substantially across the portfolio. Check whether your hotel has a restaurant, café, bar, prepared breakfast, or other food options, and whether the services operate during your stay.

Sonesta ES Suites promotes breakfast at participating hotels. Its official terms state that offerings and inclusions vary and do not guarantee free breakfast at every ES Suites property. For other brands, read the hotel's offer rather than assuming breakfast is included.

Confirm the guests covered, service times, charges, and any dietary needs. A kitchen, coffee service, or an on-site restaurant does not by itself mean meals are included in the room price.

Sonesta ES Suites and Sonesta Simply Suites

Sonesta ES Suites and Sonesta Simply Suites focus on longer stays and promote suites with kitchens. Compare the individual hotels rather than expecting identical layouts or service packages.

Before committing to a weekly or monthly visit, ask about housekeeping frequency, linen changes, laundry arrangements, internet access, parking, and mail or deliveries. Check which services are included and which carry a separate charge.

Read the complete longer-stay conditions. Confirm any minimum stay, payment schedule, deposit, and rules for changing your departure date. A quoted daily amount is only one part of the cost of a multiweek reservation.

Fitness centers, pools, and downtime

Check the facilities at the property you are considering. Fitness centers, pools, outdoor areas, and other amenities are not identical across Sonesta's brands or locations.

If exercise is part of your routine, ask about equipment, opening hours, and access. For swimming, confirm that the pool will be open during your dates, including seasonal schedules or maintenance closures.

Allow for the practical details around your trip: when you can work out, where to eat afterward, and how long it takes to reach the day's activities.

Sonesta for business travel and meetings

Start with the journey to your client, office, or venue, then check the room's workspace and internet options. Confirm any essential connection requirement, including premium access charges, rather than assuming every offer includes the same service.

For a meeting, ask the hotel about dedicated event space, capacity, seating layout, presentation equipment, catering, accessibility, and internet for attendees. A guest-room reservation does not reserve a meeting room.

For a group or room block, request a written proposal covering the dates, rates, taxes, deposits, rooming-list deadlines, and cancellation or unused-room commitments. Keep the event agreement separate from individual room-booking conditions.

Sonesta Travel Pass and booking channels

Travel Pass participation and benefits depend on the property, booking channel, rate, and current programme rules. Compare any eligible member offer with the complete price and conditions of other available reservations.

Third-party online reservations do not qualify for Travel Pass stay credit or benefits under Sonesta's published rules. Do not assume a BusinessHotels.com reservation earns points, qualifying nights, or member benefits. Review the current Travel Pass terms when those benefits matter to your decision.

Pets, parking, and arrival arrangements

• Pets: confirm acceptance, fees, size or number limits, designated rooms, and supervision rules with the property before booking.
• Parking: check availability, daily charges, vehicle restrictions, and whether you can leave and return without another fee.
• Arrival: verify check-in hours, identification, minimum-age requirements, payment methods, and any security deposit or card hold.
• Transport: confirm shuttle routes and hours, public transport, and the actual journey to your destination.

Compare Sonesta with other hotel options

Before you confirm your Sonesta booking

Review the hotel, address, arrival and departure dates, number of guests, room category, bedding, and accessibility requirements. Check the total in the selected currency, including taxes, mandatory charges, and amounts payable at the property.

Read the payment, change, and cancellation conditions. Note the exact cancellation deadline and time zone, any deposit, and whether prepayment is refundable. Save the confirmation and instructions for contacting the booking provider.

If a kitchen, meal, shuttle, meeting room, pet arrangement, or other feature is essential, confirm it before finalizing the reservation. Keep any written agreement with your travel documents.
