Where to stay near Shibuya Crossing: 6 Tokyo hotels to compare

Quick answer: where should you stay?

For a first visit focused on Shibuya Crossing, start with hotels around Shibuya Station. Choose Shibuya Excel Hotel Tokyu for a station-connected base in Mark City, Hotel Indigo Tokyo Shibuya for Dogenzaka, or sequence MIYASHITA PARK for the park area north of the station. SHIBUYA STREAM HOTEL, Cerulean Tower Tokyu Hotel and all day place shibuya offer additional settings nearby.

The strongest choice depends on your arrival route, daily plans and selected room. These are six hotel examples, not a price ranking. A crossing view, extra bed or early arrival arrangement must be part of the actual room or booking terms.

Use the addresses below to distinguish each property. Station walking times depend on the railway line, platform, exit, street route and luggage. Compare the hotel’s current access instructions with your own journey instead of treating every Shibuya Station exit as interchangeable.

Shibuya Excel Hotel Tokyu

Mark City · Dogenzaka

Address: 1-12-2 Dogenzaka, Shibuya-ku, Tokyo 150-0043, Japan

Shibuya Excel Hotel Tokyu sits in Shibuya Mark City and is directly connected to Shibuya Station. Consider it when station access and a central base are priorities. Confirm the correct building entrance and the route from your arriving line. If your trip revolves around seeing the crossing from above, check the view promised by the selected room rather than relying on the property’s location alone.

Hotel Indigo Tokyo Shibuya

Dogenzaka · western Shibuya

Address: 2-25-12 Dogenzaka, Shibuya-ku, Tokyo 150-0043, Japan

Hotel Indigo Tokyo Shibuya is a Dogenzaka option for travelers who want a hotel experience tied to the surrounding neighborhood. The hotel identifies specific Shibuya Scramble view rooms, making the exact category important if the crossing is part of your wish list. Compare that offer with other room types, and review the current dining and breakfast arrangements. A view shown in marketing photographs is not a promise for every reservation.

sequence MIYASHITA PARK

Miyashita Park North · Jingumae

Address: MIYASHITA PARK North, 6-20-10 Jingumae, Shibuya-ku, Tokyo 150-0001, Japan

sequence MIYASHITA PARK places you at the park complex north of Shibuya Station. Its published room selection includes double, twin and bunk-bed formats, so compare the layout with your party’s needs. The hotel publishes specific cleaning and payment arrangements; review them before booking. Arrival instructions also distinguish the hotel entrance from park access. This matters if you return after the park-side entrance has closed.

SHIBUYA STREAM HOTEL

Shibuya Stream · station connection

Address: 3-21-3 Shibuya, Shibuya-ku, Tokyo 150-0002, Japan

SHIBUYA STREAM HOTEL occupies the Shibuya Stream development and advertises a connection to the station’s C2 exit on the subway and Tokyu lines. That is a useful reference when checking your arrival route, but it does not mean every platform is beside reception. Consider this property when the Stream setting suits your plans, then compare room size, bedding and the final route to the crossing.

Cerulean Tower Tokyu Hotel

Sakuragaoka · near Route 246

Address: 26-1 Sakuragaoka-cho, Shibuya-ku, Tokyo 150-8512, Japan

Cerulean Tower Tokyu Hotel is a tower hotel in Sakuragaoka, along Route 246. Compare it when you want this setting rather than a room within a station-linked development. Use the current access directions to assess the walk with your luggage. For a business stay or special occasion, confirm the selected room, dining reservations and any meeting arrangements separately. A guest-room booking does not automatically reserve private event space.

all day place shibuya

Shibuya 1-chome · northeastern station area

Address: 1-17-1 Shibuya, Shibuya-ku, Tokyo 150-0002, Japan

all day place shibuya is an option on the northeastern side of the station area. Its official access information distinguishes Tokyo Metro’s B1 exit from JR’s Miyamasuzaka exit, a helpful reminder to plan for your actual arrival line. Compare its room categories and bedding with the space you need. Choose the property for its address and room offer, rather than assuming all hotels with Shibuya in their names share the same location.

Crossing views, SHIBUYA SKY and time outside the hotel

Shibuya Scramble Crossing is a public intersection outside the station, with Hachiko’s statue nearby. Keep moving while crossing, and take photographs from a safe position without blocking other pedestrians. Visiting the crossing and entering an observation attraction are separate activities.

SHIBUYA SKY is the observation experience at Shibuya Scramble Square. Check its own ticket, entry and operating information when planning a visit. A hotel booking does not include admission unless the selected package explicitly says so. Likewise, a city-view room does not necessarily overlook the crossing.

For a relaxed afternoon, combine the crossing with the Miyashita Park area and a meal near your hotel. Build in time to return to the room before dinner or an evening appointment. Staying nearby makes that break easier, especially when your first Tokyo day follows an overnight flight.

Match the room to a work trip, family visit or short break

For business travel, choose the hotel around the actual office address and transport route. Confirm a suitable desk or table, internet arrangements and a private place for calls. A lobby photograph or restaurant listing does not establish a quiet working area.

For families and friends, compare bedding and permitted occupancy before comparing the headline price. One large bed is different from two separate beds, and an attractive room photograph may show a higher category. Check whether an extra bed is available in that particular room.

For a short leisure stay, decide how much time you will spend at the hotel. A useful location and comfortable room may matter more than facilities you will not use.

Plan the arrival route before choosing the hotel

Save the hotel’s full name, address and current arrival instructions before traveling. Shibuya is a complex station area, so identify the exit serving your property and check where lifts or escalators fit into your route. Allow extra time with large bags or children.

Compare the available rail, bus or taxi options from your arrival airport for your travel date and terminal. Check operating times, luggage arrangements and the final walk. Avoid treating an airport-to-Tokyo journey estimate as an airport-to-hotel guarantee.

If you arrive before the stated check-in time, ask about luggage storage and room access separately. For a late arrival, confirm the correct entrance and how to contact reception.

Check that your confirmation names Shibuya, not Shinjuku. Both are Tokyo districts, and similarly named hotels can appear in broad searches. Save the Japanese address too if you expect to show it to a local taxi driver on arrival.

Compare the complete stay cost, then search your dates

Search the same dates, guests and room requirements across your shortlist. Compare the total shown, included benefits, taxes and fees, property-payable charges, deposits and cancellation deadline. Breakfast, a view or lounge access can depend on the selected offer.

Use the search form above and enter Shibuya Crossing, Tokyo, or the exact hotel name. Select the correct place suggestion and your stay dates. For a wider comparison, open the Tokyo hotel search. Check the final property, room and booking conditions before paying.
