Find Your MainStay Suite

MainStay Suites Frequently Asked Questions

MainStay Suites deals and last-minute stays

Compare flexible reservations, advance-purchase offers, longer-stay rates, and any member or special offer you qualify for. A lower room price may require prepayment or limit changes. Check the conditions against how certain your plans are.

For a room tonight, search the actual arrival date and confirm arrangements for a late check-in. Events, holidays, and remaining inventory can influence prices. Booking close to arrival does not guarantee a discount.

Find MainStay Suites near your destination

Enter the full hotel name when you have a property in mind. Otherwise, search a city, airport, landmark, or street address. You can also search around your current location with permission.

Nearby results can include other brands. Verify the complete property name and exact address, especially around airports or at a dual-brand hotel.

Consider your daily journey and practical needs. Check the route to work, parking, public transport, grocery stores, and places to eat. The shortest map distance may not give you the most convenient routine.

How to search for MainStay Suites

1. Open the ChoiceHotels.com website or official Choice Hotels app.
2. Enter the destination, complete stay dates, rooms, and travelers, including children's ages where requested.
3. Review the hotel's exact address, suite categories, kitchen details, photos, amenities, and arrival rules.
4. Read payment, cancellation, meal, length-of-stay, and membership conditions for the selected offer.
5. Search the same hotel and dates on BusinessHotels.com to compare the complete offer.

MainStay suites, kitchens, and living space

MainStay Suites promotes equipped kitchens and space for everyday living. Check the category you will reserve for its actual layout, appliances, beds, and permitted occupancy.

• Cooking: verify the refrigerator, cooking appliances, cookware, utensils, tableware, and cleaning supplies you need.
• Working: compare the desk or table, chair, outlets, and internet arrangements.
• Sharing: confirm the beds, sofa-bed details, living area, and whether a bedroom is separate from the rest of the suite.

If an accessible feature, particular appliance, or bed arrangement is essential, confirm it with the hotel before payment. At a dual-brand property, select the MainStay room category you intend to book.

MainStay breakfast and meal planning

Choice's MainStay brand information describes complimentary continental breakfast. Check the individual hotel and selected offer; an identical hot buffet is not a promise at every property.

Confirm the guests covered, menu, and service times, especially before an early departure. Discuss allergies or dietary needs directly with the hotel before relying on a particular food or service.

For a longer stay, plan around the suite's kitchen and local grocery options. Include food shopping, restaurant meals, delivery charges, and any cooking items you need when comparing the whole visit.

Housekeeping, laundry, and everyday essentials

The brand promotes weekly housekeeping and on-site laundry. Confirm the property's cleaning schedule, towel and linen arrangements, laundry hours, payment method, and any charge for extra service.

For several weeks away, check storage, mail or delivery arrangements, and the supplies provided in the suite. Ask what can be replenished and what you should bring or buy locally.

A regular routine is easier when you know which services are included. Review these details before choosing between room categories or longer-stay offers.

Fitness facilities and downtime

Check the selected hotel's exercise equipment, access rules, opening hours, and any planned closure. Compare the facilities you will realistically use during your stay.

Pools and other leisure amenities vary by property. A hot tub, sauna, or spa should be confirmed individually rather than assumed from the brand name.

Consider nearby walking routes, parks, and places to relax alongside the hotel's facilities, particularly when your visit will last several weeks.

MainStay Suites for work trips and meetings

Build a project stay around your daily route, room workspace, meal plans, and invoicing requirements. MainStay promotes complimentary internet; confirm access arrangements and any premium options if you have specific connection needs.

Meeting space is property-specific. Ask about a dedicated room, capacity, table arrangement, presentation equipment, catering, accessibility, and event internet.

For a team visit or room block, request a written proposal covering deposits, room commitments, cancellation conditions, and any equipment charges. Confirm event arrangements separately from individual suite reservations.

Compare weekly and monthly MainStay offers

Search the complete dates you expect to stay. Compare the full total and the services included rather than multiplying an advertised starting nightly rate.

Ask about the payment schedule, deposits, length-of-stay limits, and how an extension is priced. Check what happens if your work assignment ends early or your departure date changes.

Review any stay-length condition attached to a discounted rate. Confirm whether a shorter stay changes the price or creates an additional charge. Save the selected terms with your booking confirmation.

Choice Privileges and extended-stay eligibility

MainStay Suites participates in Choice Privileges at eligible locations and rates. Review the current programme rules before comparing member offers, points, and qualifying stay credit.

Third-party online travel bookings are generally not points-eligible unless Choice expressly states otherwise. Do not assume a BusinessHotels.com reservation earns Choice Privileges points or qualifying stay credit.

Pets, parking, and arrival plans

Confirm parking availability, charges, vehicle restrictions, and whether spaces are on-site or nearby. An airport-area address does not confirm a shuttle; ask about its route, hours, reservation requirements, and any fee.

Pet acceptance and charges depend on the hotel. Check size limits, room restrictions, supervision rules, and how fees apply to a longer stay before booking with your pet.

Check the hotel's arrival and departure times and any minimum check-in age. Confirm late arrival, early check-in, late check-out, and essential special requests separately.
